Your 90-Day Roadmap to Contracts and Capital
We've covered a lot in two weeks. 🙌🏾 Now let's turn it into a plan you can actually walk out. Here's a 90-day roadmap.
🗓️ Days 1–30: Foundation
Choose your structure (LLC, nonprofit, or both) — with professional advice
Form your entity, get your EIN, open a separate bank account
Confirm zoning and any state license or certification required
Start your SAM.gov registration (it's free!)
Write your one-page program overview
🗓️ Days 31–60: Readiness
Finish policies and procedures: intake, house rules, testing, grievances, discharge, incidents
Get insurance quotes
Calculate your real cost per bed and break-even rate
Set up Grants.gov (EBiz POC, AOR, Workspace)
Begin meetings: reentry coordinators, probation, drug court, hospital discharge planners
Start your grant boilerplate folder
🗓️ Days 61–90: Action
Weekly opportunity search: SAM.gov, state portal, county bids, Grants.gov
Respond to at least one RFI or sources-sought notice
Submit at least one local grant or small contract proposal
Send your first monthly update to every partner you met
Collect letters of support
🔥 A word from my heart
Most people don't fail because they lacked the calling. They fail because they stopped. 🙏🏾 The plan God gave you is bigger than your fear and bigger than your paperwork. One faithful step at a time.
You don't have to do this alone. đź’ś

This 90-day roadmap offers practical guidance for entrepreneurs preparing to secure contracts and funding. Breaking the process into foundation, readiness, and action makes the goals easier to manage. The emphasis on proper documentation and financial preparation is especially valuable. Working with a Business Fraud Investigator can also help organizations identify potential risks during important business decisions.
